Just a Little Vent...

*sobs*
I have a farrier coming in 4 hours to do Alahna's feet..I hate it! *pulls hair out*

The fact that he feet need done like..two weeks ago before I bought her killed me..BUT, the fact that by flipping my car I'm much too sore/injured to deal with a fiesty OTTB that cow kicks jusy yet..

I know nothing of this farrier aside from his name, age, price, and that he has done her before..so hopefully he knows about the cow kicking and understands I can't fix it while I'm down there yet. My shoulders just don't have the strength to hold onto a kicking hoof right now..

I'm so far beyond bummed ;; I'm terrified he's going to do a hack job on her poor (already poor lol) hooves!

I guess I should at least look at all the farriers in the area and check out their work in case I have another shoulder/back/neck injury, eh? :(

Anywho...

Aww - gives brownies.- Hover over him like a hawk and make sure he is not sawing chunks of his hoof off! You can always step in and say something if you don't like what he is doing to Alahna's hooves. Who knows, might be interesting to watch the farrier do your horses hooves!

Well..he did an awesome job!
I think he's going to be my farrier unless I'm broke, then Ill do it myself.
But shoot, he's cute enough to pay $35 to watch, and he was great with Alahna, she didn't even pin her ears at him!

*SIGH* no he is not cute, but he is strong, kind and patient, works with a horse rather than against it, and is worth his weight in gold. I'll take that over cute:wink:

THIS would be a bonus

ummm yeah...that would be a bonus!!!

Glad the farrier did a good job. A great farrier is a friend in deed...a bad one is a nightmare.
