Training a mane?
My mare has one of those half on one side, half on the other manes. When we got her, it was really short, I imagine it was cut for racing and now it's growing nicely.
My question is... How would I get it all to one side? I have heard it's a right hand/left hand thing, I also heard it's in the muscles in the neck, so what is the best way to get it all on one side or the other? When I groom her, I try to brush it all to one side, and that works for a little while, but not long - she either shakes her head and they flop back to where they were or they creep back. It's also quite thick compared to some I have seen.
You can either braid her mane to one side every day, or use a mane tamer. It's like a sleezy for their neck. Get her mane all to one side in the sleezy and leave it on a couple hours a day.
