Worst cases of horsemanship

I'm just curious on things that other people can find on youtube. What is the worst demonstration of horsemanship you have seen? Ill post more as I cone across them, but here is one that was in another one of my posts.

Put up links to videos you found.

I had to copy and paste the link, but if this is the correct video you posted, the horse walking on its hindlegs.. I think someday that is going to get pawed in the head.

I agree with that. Sorry about that, posing from.my phone is more complicated than it should be. I have a thread about that video specifically.

I hope you don't pick any videos I posted of myself riding. I'd be mortified.

Oh where do I begin..

And this lady..

I don't know how I feel about threads like these. For example, the second video Wanstrom posted... granted I didn't watch with sound, however I see a nervous, disrespectful horse and a person who is dealing with the situation. Not in the best way possible, but who says she knows exactly what she's doing?

Wanstrom Horses 03-02-2013 08:22 PM

She has the lead rope wrapped around her hand, didn't reprimand the horse at all, and had an out of control stud horse. That isn't handling the situation in my book. That's just as big of an accident waiting to happen as the horse walking on two legs.

alexischristina 03-02-2013 08:28 PM

Yep, it's a video full of mistakes, maybe she doesn't know what she's doing, you don't know the circumstances and IMO shouldn't be throwing it under the bus.

Wanstrom Horses 03-02-2013 08:30 PM

Well somewhere in that situation, with a horse that acts like that, there is bad horsemanship.. People that don't know much about horses shouldn't be handling studs like that anyways. Dangerous..

alexischristina 03-02-2013 08:35 PM

Dangerous, yes. Bad horsemanship, yes. But just because somebody else put it on youtube and tagged it as such doesn't mean it should be brought over here to be mocked, etcetc.
