It should say on the show prizelist whether or not it's legal to do the "Easy Does It" & 2'3" Schooling Hunters. Here you would be able to do both, but it just depends on the show rules. I'd say go ahead & try the derby, if it's only a $100 class & only 2'3", then it isn't really a big deal..The fences might be alittle more natural(although also depends on the show) and the courses will be longer. You'll have 2 rounds that you will hear the scores out of 100 at the end of your round, the scores of both rounds will be combined for final placings. Generally, the first round is a normal hunter course, and the 2nd round is in a handy round. |
