Crows conformation and stuff? :P
Well, just thought it would be fun to see what you think about my standardbred. :)
He's away to be trained at the moment, 6 earsold and some 15hh I think. Walked under saddle but that's pretty much it.. I've had him on the trail and cantered once, paced some and walked the most. Done some little dressage in walk, but not much really. I've had him since he was 5, but at my first attempt to ''break'' him, on the fifth or so ride, the saddle slid around and I crushed my wrist. I got a little scared after that but eventually started ridig again. But now he's away, as I said, so he'll learn all this new stuff :P
Anyway, enough background story; what do you think? :)
Of course he's waaay cuter in reality than on these pictures. x)
hard to critique with those pictures - - just wanted to say that he's realllly cute!
Yeah, we'd need to see some side shots, him standing square, & such. :) He is very cute though, looks like a sweetie!
Thanks, both of you ^__^
I did link to one.. but I pressed the wrong button so the link didn't work.. x) He doesn't look good on sideshots when he's standing still.. x)
The first one is a sideshot tho..
Oh well.. x)
What a cute chunky monkey!!
Love his coat - - looks soooo healthy.
His back is a bit short, and his neck is a bit thick. Looks to have a nice shoulder - what a cutie!
xD I've always thought of him as a long backed and thin-necked horse.. XD The neck is too short for him.. x)
Short backs are good..
I agree you can't get a critique with the above photos posted but I will also agree I like how thick he looks. Always liked thicker horses.
the neck appears thick cause the hair is roached to form a "crest"...but the neck is actually pretty thin
Hopefully he'll get a good neck when he's ridden better, and the mane will gow long again. :)
