Western Riding Boot Question Hey y'all, I'm looking to buy a pair of boots for riding and some barn work this summer (I'll be working add a riding instructor and horse hand at a ranch). I'm looking at Justin sorrel Apaches, Justin gypsies with a steel toe, and Ariat western heritage, round toe. Does anyone have experience with those? Thanks! Posted via Mobile Device |
I have a pair of Ariat heritages and so far I like them and they're holding up well. They did take a long time to break in though and definitely are made for people with narrow feet! |
I vote Ariats.. They are awesome boots and last forever. |
I've owned both Justin's and Ariats, but not the specific boots that you mentioned. I've had 2-3 pair of Ariats, but no matter how well I take care of them they still only last about a year. I literally had a reminder on my calendar to wash and condition them and they still didn't make it much longer. So I'm back with Justin's so and so far so good. I personally have trouble riding in the roper heel, and I'm short, so I ride in the higher heels and semi square toe. Either one is a good boot and should work well for what you're doing.Steel toe would be a nice plus. Posted via Mobile Device |
