Piper Update Time! (5 months!)
Piper is 5 months old tomorrow! Here are some pictures of her today.
It's raining a bit here at last! Very close to being declared in drought so all the paddocks are brown :(

Piper on top of the hill from the back lawn.

Look out on the valley.

Cessna on top of the hill.

Piper on top of the hill.

View from top of the hill.

Silhouetted Piper.

I have several pics of Cessna in a very similar pose with the same expression.

Still as friendly as ever.

Cessna coming over to see what's going on.

Bum to the wind and rain.

I love this photo, it came out so well.

The halter almost doesn't fit now! Only one more hole to loosen too!

She looks great CessBee, you are so lucky to have such a lovely farm for them.

Another sequence of photos! Coming down the hill to see me.

Cess is looking a bit lighter than I like and they are both all fuzzy and maulting a bit due to lack of brushing, but nothing major. Haven't had a chance to brush them yet due to the weather, they just get dry them it rains again, ah well, no complaining from me, it means there is water falling!
Am separating Cessna from Piper at feeding time so she get's the whole lot, also giving Piper some feed of her own now due to the low levels of feed.

My boyfriend and I took them for a walk up the road and back today Piper was a star, she needs almost no pressure to lead she'll start and stop with you and will follow you at a trot as well. Let them have a graze on some of the grass on the side of the road (it's a barely used gravel road, so don't need to worry about the pollution from cars). Cessna is looking less ouchy on the gravel as well, which is great, Piper does not even seem to have any problems with the gravel at all.

Due to the lack of grass Cessna seems to be drying up a little, but Piper is pretty independent as it is so may have to do with that as well, I have seen her suckle once since I've been here. Not that I think Piper seems to be losing any weight, she seems like she'll be an easy keeper.

I know all about lack of grass Cessbee, we have NONE.
Cessna looks great. I wouldn't worry about her - better to be a little too light than too fat :-)

More photos from today!
Cessna coming across the hill.

I love the look of them silhouetted against the cloudy sky.

Cessna is pretty **** good at navigating her way down the hills.

As is Piper.

She almost looks like a full grown horse here, again same expression as Cessna
