I am thinking of getting one of these Circle Y saddles, what do you think? Do any of you have one?
Pioneer
Alpine
Omaha

Each would be in natural oil color.

depends on the use and the horse. Circle Y nearly made the cut for me, just found a tucker first. Id suggest sittign in the exact model. They have a couple different seat feels depending on model. One I found very comfortable one I hated. But the narrow twist higher rise seat is liked by many. SO hard to say. I did like the quality. IF it fits your horse and it fits you is the question. The saddles are fine.
Another brand to look at that makes similar saddles also of good quality but not super expensive is Dakota.

What do you guys think of this American Saddlery Flex Tree from Tennessee?

I have the Omaha! I really like it. I do end up using my Circle Y endurance saddle more tho because it fits my mare and I ride her more. Here are both.

the seat on the endurance saddle is the one I found gawd awful uncomfortable. American saddelry flex trees are love and hate. Seems like they flex too much. Ok for light riders not so much for heavy, say 180 plus

I have really come to like that saddle. Maybe it is because it fits my mare so well, not sure. You would think I would like the other better.

the lower one is a female seat, especially one that posts alot. Thats usually who likes those style of seat. The upper one is wider and would probably suit a guy like me that spends most of his time sitting back.

Here's a kick, I can easily fit a 15" seat but with the BH barrel saddle something's not right but a 16" works. Bot a BH gaited saddle with the higher cantle and there was room for me and a little kid. Same with the Circle Y with the higher cantle. The higher cantle does make a a difference in how one sits in the saddle as it holds the pelvis in a more upright position.

I have the Circle Y Topeka saddle which is basically the Omaha with a square skirt lol and I LOVE it!!! It is so comfortable :) Also with their new Flex 2 trees they are much lighter then your traditional saddle which for a tiny person like me is very beneficial. Overall, I would just say that the quality is outstanding and well worth the money. They are gorgeous, comfortable and just plain great saddles :)
