My husband just saw what very trained horse can actually do!

Where I work at, the Hippodrom stadium is next door to me in North Augusta, SC. They hold many different equestrian event there such as the futurity and barrel racing. My husband just came by cause he gets off work before I do and there is an event going on over there. He decided to go over and watch for a bit. Right now, they are having a cow cutting competition. He was amazed at how agile and smart the horses are and just come back over saying that our horses are lazy or stupid cause they don't do any where near what those horses do. I laughed at him and said "Nope, they are just plain spoiled cause they know you will baby them and let them get away with murder!" He is new to horses and has never realized their intelligence before. After being forced to be horseless for 18 years, I am living up having horses again.

Glad he got a glimpse of what horses can do, if asked. lol

Your pooooor ponies. If he is like so many of us when we started, he will now expect that he can start a point A, and somehow demand point Z without going through the steps it takes to get there.

He would get kicked LOL. My ponies would punt him like a football.

Lol make sure you tell him that. Also that if you spend enough time with them and he pays for you to work with a world renowned trainer yours can do that. ( more barn time and he pays for lessons)
