Does anyone have experience? Could you share, please? I have one and looks to me it's really high on pommel. I thought may be it's too narrow for my horse, but doesn't look like... I guess it's built this way... :???:

Collegiates don't normally have high pommels. Take some pictures of it on your horse, with and without a saddle pad (lightly girthed). Take a side photo, one from the rear (stand on a stool so we can see the horse's back), and one more standing at the front but to the side, so we can see the WHOLE shoulder, like this: http://www.advancedsaddlefit.com/ima...ing_saddle.jpg

I have a Collegiate Eventing saddle and I LOVE IT!! It's my "wonder saddle" and fits almost any horse I put it on :D

I have Collegiate diginary(? spell ). It's comfortable to ride. It's medium tree, but my horse has narrow gullet (I measured). It still looks pretty high though. Yes, I'll try to take pics and post them. Probably will just open another post...

Most horses don't truly need a narrow tree/gullet. You are likely putting the saddle too far forward.

My saddle is not interchangable in gullets. I was just referring to that tool you use when measuring horse for the correct gullet on interchangable one. :-) I mean she's pretty narrow horse, so I'd be VERY surprised if she needs wide tree.
Anyway, I'll try to take some pics today...

I used to ride in one and I loved it...and I was going to buy it, but it didn't fit my horse...it was too big.
But it's definately comfortable and worth the money.

I think Collegiates are THE best for the price! They're great quality leather, put your leg in the right position, and fit lots of horses. I'm in the process of getting rid of our school horse's saddles and replacing them all with Collegiates and Pessoas. Love 'em!
