Got Morgans?

Hi everyone. I own a soon to be 15 year old dark chestnut 14.2hh mare. I show her saddleseat and huntseat. I was wondering if anyone else out there had Morgans or if they like Morgans!

I do!

Two years ago I bought my first Morgan, and she's anything but "small". She's 3 years old and is already 15hh! She's a georgous buckskin girl. I'm just now starting her out and already know that from now on, the Morgan is the breed for me! I haven't been around the Lippet bred Morgans, but I sure do love my gov't remount bred girl. She's super smooth to ride and reminds me of a giant golden retriever. I'm very glad that I bought my girl, and plan on one day in the distant future buying another one.

We have two morgans. One mare and one gelding. My daughter shows the gelding in classic pleasure now. I show my mare in western pleasure. My daughter has shown her gelding in hunt, over fences, dressage and now classic pleasure and she did really well in all disciplines. Talk about versatility. :) They are a great breed but doesn't seem to be well known. I guess we are going to have to fix that.
