Its mean, but just so funny!
My hubby sleeps hard, like sleep through a tornado that has picked up a freight train hard. He sleeps so hard there is no alarm i have found that can wake him. So it falls to me. Ive vecome very adept at waking him now but it kills me when he says random things in his half wake state.
As an example, this morning when it was time to wake up i backed my butt up to his and started rocking him back and forth until he was half awake. Then he says in this whiny voice "honey why dont you go watch the fire?" (What fire) "the fire at coxs lumber, you know, down by the stoplight *snore* (oh theres a fire huh?) "Yeah they bought that *snore* old house and theyve been tearng it down piling it up and they are burning it"(and i can see it from inside the bedroom huh?) "Huh?" *snore* ..... it cracks me up when he comes up with this random stuff. He never remembers it either! Lmbo!
Anyhoo good morning yall! Just thought id share my giggles!

that's hilarious! My friend talks in his sleep the first time I witnessed he said "go away!...noo...I don't want your ring pop go away! I don't want your ring pop go away go away!"
LOL! i know what you mean. My boyfriend is the same way and i was waking him up this morning and he said to me... Did you find my handcuffs? *snore*
(he is an armed security officer with his arresting powers so he carrys a gun and handcuffs)
no one took his handcuffs so idk what he was dreaming lol
Josh says the most random off the wall things if you can actually wake him. Sometimes it takes about ten minutes of pushing and prodding and griping to get him to even come to.
CUD- id have been worried about the handcuff thing lol.

I'm one of those that can sleep through most anything. During the summer, I work evening hours, 4:30pm to 2:00am. I sleep from about 6:00am until noon. If I let things wake me up, I wouldn't get any sleep. When we lived in the city, we had the windows open in the morning and there is a lot of commotion outside in the morning. Construction trucks going by, lawns getting mowed, planes flying over, trains, and more. I can easily block them out but then it also blocks out noises like the phone and alarm clock.
At least I haven't been told that I've said stupid or silly things when I sleep, LOL.

I wish. I wish I could sleep heavier. Why is it that so many men can sleep heavy like that, and most women cannot ? even ones that have not been trained by midnight feedings of infants.
I wake up when a butterfly passes my window. (of course I exaggerate)
I have been told plenty of times I do talk or do weird things when I'm woken up, but I don't believe them! Humph. Lots of times when I'm awakened out of a dead sleep, my family says I'll panic and freak out, and hit and smack stuff and wave my arms around in the air, or even hold an intelligent conversation. And I never remember a thing!
Once I woke up in a panic because I thought I was late for babysitting, and got dressed and ready for the parent to come over in about 3 minutes flat. Come to find out an hour later, after waiting impatiently, that my mom had woken me up in the night, told me she wasn't coming, and had me turn my alarm clock off. I don't remember one single thing. LOL
Another time I woke my own self up by yelling "YOU CAN DO IT! YOU CAN DO IT!" (I think that came from helping my younger siblings with math recently.)
And another time my mom told me that she woke me up to do something important, and I suddenly sat straight up and smacked my Bible on the nightstand really hard about five times and then promptly fell back asleep. Maybe I thought the Bible was a clock, and Mom's voice was the alarm? I dunno!
Another time I must have had a nightmare or SOMETHING, because I woke up to myself running into the bathroom... startling, to say the least!
There are so many more times...
My dad though... wow. He's the loudest snorer on the PLANET. We have to apologize to the neighbors. I'll bet some of you all here on HF probably hear him. No, it's not a freight train or an airliner or a fighter jet. It's just Dad.
So if your hubby didn't have you to wake him up, he would sleep in every morning?
I am so jealous of you heavy sleepers! I can hear everything at night - Tiny, that butterfly annoys me as well.
I can hear a tap dripping across the house. We have a teeny little clock on our immersion out in the hall, if the hall door is open at night I can't sleep. Hubby can slep through anything, but me... not a hope. Coincidentally he has managed to get worse sincethe kids arrived... selective hearing maybe?? lol!
