I'm too slow...

So...while driving out to barn after work I thought to myself.....well I wont have enough time to ride...but I'll at least clean him up some! So I get to the barn and see my mess of a horse...Oh and hes a 7 year old quarter horse :) I've only had him since September and we've come a longgggggggg way since then!

(ps the other side was worse!)

Man..thats going to take forever...IDEA! I'll get him all nice and clean and finally try and get some confo pics and some of his hooves!!!!! YES great idea.

Well, after finishing barn chores and taking FOREVER to get him all nice and clean and pretty for you guys.......it was dark. I'm sure you can't tell me ANYTHING from these pics but I thought it was a funny story to share and I'll just have to try again another night haha!

Well I tried to lighten it up a tiny bit without completely ruining the picture...but he still isn't standing that great :( sorry for failed confo pics I know I have to retake :)

I love his expression in the first pic. "What?! Maybe I LIKE being dirty!"

I don't see the pictures, but I can relate. A lot of time is going into grooming right now, whether it be dirt from rolling in the half mud half dirt, or for the massive shedding they are doing. I could groom morning and night and they would still look like I never do them, as the minute they go into the pasture they roll in the muckiest spot they can find. Ahh...whatever makes them happy I suppose:D

Yeah, the woman I board with said on Saturday when she wasn't paying attention she heard a little splashing...he found his way into the pond LOL...he was quite messy after that!! One day I'll have a horse that likes being clean ;)

Oh myyyyyyyyyyy ... my solid brown gelding is a pigpen also! He looks sooooo much like that ... FREQUENTLY.

I am usually currying him like crazy, saying, "Really, Badger .... REALLY?"

Clean and horse don't go together. That's a pipe dream.

I just cleaned my two up this morning only to turn them out without their blankets today, at is so very warm and nice! Ah...they'll roll and get dirty again and I'll clean them up again tonight.

All three of mine like to roll at the same time. All three are either grey or nearly solid white. Ugh.
