There's kind of a story behind this. About 3 years ago, when I still owned the car lot, a tail-less stray wondered onto the lot. He followed me into the shop and DEMANDED attention. We took him out to a friends house (now where we stable our horses). This tabby tom was a pleasure to have around, but one day he got hit by a car. A month or so later - one of the other barn cats had kittens. One with no tail. Well, when they got a bit older, they all ran away - but this tailess kitten was always being spotted by the neighbor. Now he is full grown, and is fond of the local queen cats. This spring there were 2 tailess kittens born, 1 survived. And now there's this guy, the only one of the litter to make it. He will be coming home to be raised up into a young adault like we did the last batch of bobtails. Come to find out, they are a very desirable breed of cats, as we get many requests for kittens.
Sorry for picture quality. Second picture is dark, but if you look close, you can see he has no tail what-so-ever.
Awww your kind of a softy aren't you?
My barn cat Joe Hill died a few weeks ago. I keep waiting for a new baby Joe to show up. He wasn't tailess but he was one sweet barn cat and a hell of a mouser. I miss him
I want a kitty.... glad to hear you are going to raise this one up
