Very cute horses? Do you bow hunt? My husband does we were out tracking his moose the other day, what fun. I got a stick in my belly!!

They are super cute. Do you plan on training them your self or with a trainer?

bowhunt1974 10-31-2008 12:42 AM

we are going to TRY ourselves...they havent been handled at all since they was born...but i actually petted one today i was so happy..she wasnt you can see she was stressin on me touching..but she let me ..then she slowly walked away..made my day :D

Didnt you say you were a novice? I would advise that you ask a trainer for help. Raising young ones is really hard epsecially if you dont know how to watch for/correct their behavior.
There is a novice at our barn and she baught a nice older (19) been there done that gelding and she manadge to screw him up because she didnt take lessons just hopped on and went to the beach. Well the little arab dumped her hauled butt back home! 2 years later she is still trying fix what she did. The horse is a mess....
Im not trying to be harsh please dont think im being a meany but im just looking out for you and your family a lot of people can get hurt if they dont know how to properly brake in a horse.
