what type of condition is she in? what was the previous owner feeding and how much? if she is in good health and eating and drinking well, then i would stick with what you are doing. my geldings are on 1 1/2 scoops of steamed crimpped oats twice a day and alphalfa twice a day recsue mare is on nutrena safe choice and neutrena vitality....she does not like hay so i am about to start her on beet pulp for fiber, and alphalfa pellets. she also gets vita plus(just a multivitiman) and electrolites(once a week). so if you can up load pics then we all can get a better idea. good luck. keep us posted!!!

we really need to know breed, age, medical history (any laminitis events), body condition, work-out program, do you intend to increase work, what events do you compete in...or practice, living situation (pasture, stall)? All horse diets are dramatically different when you look at genetic, environmental, and performance needs.
