Need tail white!
Well I have a haflinger that has a very thick tail and I want to find a way to get it more white for tomorrow. It's still in the 40s here so I need something that'll make it clean but I don't want to get his butt wet. Is there a way to get it clean without getting it wet? And homemade stuff please. Thanks

I would just wash the tail-you don't have to get his butt wet to do that. Put a cooler or blanket on him and just wet and wash the tail itself. As for homemade-I would probably try something with baking soda and lemon juice.

Baking soda and lemon juice is probably your best bet for a shampoo. Olive oil and egg is for conditioning afterwards. Use a 5 gallon bucket to keep the tail off the butt and to prevent the horse from swishing water and whatnot around with the tail.
