coloring out??
i was brushing abby today and noticed that she is getting a really light color on her neck..some what like a grula color, her dam is a buckskin and her sire was a dark bay almost black (so i've been told) he was hit by a semi one night so i really don't's just strange that this pony is pockadoted with dirent colors.....sort of like a solid paint with no white.....can it take this long to reach her true color?

My filly is a Palomino and she can go from a REAL chocolate Color and then she goes this light palomino.. and then a Rich golden Crome colour!!

Here is some Example's

Chocolate pally -

Changing into a True pally

If you go through you're horses line's and check back a bit and research about colour Genectic's it might help you.

My horse changes colors too. In the summer she's a deep brown and black then in the winter she turns s copper brown. Right now she's a burnt copper color cuz she's shedding but her summer coat is coming in black. It's funny. I used to have a palomino that was solid white in the winter then in the summer he turned into a beautiful golden color.
