okay now im realy worried . . . my gelding had lyme over a month ago and has been off his doxy for like 3 weeks now . . . and now he seems to be weak in his rear . . . the other day he slipped in the feild (running down the hill) and today in the feild he layed down to roll and couldnt get up again . . . he struggled for a min and then when our boarder went over to try and help him up he struggled back up to his feet . . . and ive noticed that when hes just standing and eating hay or somthing instead of having his feet anywhere close to square hes been bringing his hind legs in and under his belly and closer to his fronts . . . you think he hurt his back or pulled somthing in his hind legs???

First thing first, I know nothing of lyme in horses as I have never dealt with it before. I do know that if he will not put weight on his hind end, then something is sore. The question is what and why. I will try to do some research on lyme in horses a little later tonight and see if maybe I can come up with some sort of answer...

You need to contact your vet immediately and schedule a recheck. It is possible that there is something more than lymes going on or that your horse has injured himself, but whatever the case you need to get treatment ASAP.

okay so he can back up and take a turn tight circles to both sides

Still you need to have your vet back out ASAP. Your horse has been treated for a disease and now that you have stopped treatment he is showing some very not normal symptoms. You need an assessment and appropriate treatment plan before he falls and hurts himself or you or he gets down and can't get back up when no one is around to help him and ends up hurting himself while struggling.
