No lameness but 2 fronts of hooves different temp?

I have a TB gelding who has 2 'slightly' warmer feet (top of the hoof under the coronet band) but does not display any soundness issues.

I didn't think to ask my vet or farrier on their recent visits.
Would this be a lack of blood flow issue or a circulation issue for the feet that are 'colder'? Or for the feet that are warmer, something else going on?

Thanks in advance.

Are you feeling it or actually checked the temp?

Its odd. The two just feel warmer, like there's more blood flow. I will check our barn mates tomorrow but we are the only TB in the barn all the other horses are warm bloods.

You think I can get a temp tester for the surface?

Yep. Inferred thermometer.
A good one is within +/-.2*

I didn't know such things existed. Where do you get them?

Wouldn't worry - infection or inflammation can make hooves hot, bounding digital pulse, but if they're just a bit warm, that's normal. Could be a symptom of a slight prob, but in absence of any other symptom/sign, wouldn't worry.

You say 2 are different to the other pair - is this fronts v's backs? Which are warmer? Is the horse shod or bare? Whether shod or not, is it peripherally loaded?(are walls forced to bear the load) What surface does it live & work on? After work or always?
