Spring has sprung here on the hill!
Just a few photos for those of you still getting snow!
It's coming, I swear! How is it for you guys? Photos? :D
Finally, some peach blossoms! I lost several to the drought, these are some tough trees!
Grape hyacinth. Can't wait for the iris to bloom!
My favorite Daffys, the rest are all gone or didn't bloom this year. :-(
People, we have phlox!
If I could bottle how good it smells outside right now... I'd be a millionaire!
Hope you are getting blossoms, if not I hope they come soon!
Because some of us are still shovelling what we are sick of, you're not allowed to post pics like that. Another snow storm is supposed to be crossing the prairies and we may get some of it.
Is it bad if I tell you that we're into our "mid-Spring" blooms here? Most of the fruit trees have bloomed and gone, now we're on to the first wild flowers, dandilions, lilacs, and tree leaves.
I'm glad it's finally hit you, FlyGap, though! Hopefully soon for you, Saddlebag. :)
I've had to spray the horses with fly spray for the last few days if that makes the cold seem less terrible.
Spring is slowing showing up where I am. Already been having some of those heavy April showers. But as the saying goes, I'm expecting some lovely May flowers. :)
Hehehehe, I am in Oregon with Wallaby and yes, we are on to the next round. Or at least I thought we were. Been crappy this last week.
I HATE spring. I want winter so I can enjoy all the winter stuff like riding in the snow, skiing, throwing snowballs at the dog, washing my kid's face with snow...
Then I want summer so I can ride without layers, bbq, take the boat out, do fix-ups and renos outside, drink beer, ride somewhere other than home...
Spring sucks -- it's wet and unpredictable. The horse is wet, the field is wet, the bush is wet, the roads are wet, the dog is wet, everything is freakin' wet.
I vote with do away with spring.
And NO - you're not allowed to post picture of dry, sunny scenery while we wallow in misery in Ontario and Alberta and every place in between.
^^^ Had to laugh. I would love a winter without MUD!!
Thank you so much for posting those pics, I feel inspired. Oh, my rhubard has sprouted through the mulch, maybe, just maybe spring is coming soon?
Mine shot it's head up during the three nice days that was Spring, now it's buried under a foot of snow again.Yup,lovely winter we're having this spring..
