A Show Question
I was looking at a list of classes for one of the shows I'm considering attending for my mare's first show. I was thinking about just doing a walk/trot class, and in the rules it says exhibitors riding in walk/trot classes cannot enter others classes with a lope/canter. But I was also considering doing down and back in the western games. Would I be able to enter down and back if I am in the walk/trot class?
well i go to 4-h shows and if your in walk-trot classes you cannot canter at all not even in the fields to warm up .if they see you cantering your disqualified.are you in 4-h? if you are it should say in the rule book or you can ask your county agent.or ask your leader
I'm not in 4-H anymore. The only equine 4-H in my area wasn't really up to snuff, so I opted out a few years ago. It looks like we'll be braving cantering around with a ring full of other horses and riders!
Equitation and gaming are different, cross entries allowed.
