Arabian Pedigree Critique?
This is my new guy's pedigree. Could someone in the know take a look and tell me what you see?
Very nice on the sire's side.
The dam side looks nice too, farther back... I don't really recognize the closer ones, but I'm not exactly someone well-versed in horse pedigrees...
I love the dam's side, both Mizsah and Tah Zaman were very well-known horses. Farther back on the dam's side, Karrouf was really a gorgeous horse and also well-known. I especially love the cross to the Al-Marah horses.
On the sire's side, lots of well-known halter horses there, especially Padrons Psyche, while I am not a fan of Psyche, I was a fan of his sire *Padron. Way back I see a cross to *Ramses Fayek, he was really a stunning horse, I saw him many years ago, he looked as if he was carved from fine china (he was imported from Egypt). Some of the *Padron horses could be hot, as well as some of the Nazeer-bred horses, altho I am just speaking in general terms.
A blend of Egyptian, Crabbet, and Russian (Kilimadscharo, for one, was Russian), as well as some Polish (thru Celaddinn) back there too.
I am betting your guy is quite typey and refined, and very pretty!
