Weird Stuff Going On With My Phone
I'm hoping it's not so weird to some of you.
I have a Nokia Lumina 800 (my first windows phone)
Over the last 3 weeks I have had two messages, one on my hotmail and one on my gmail that there was an unsuccessful sign-on attempt, both from the same IP address in America - I am in Australia.
Then, when I went into Explorer I find a page displayed for a restaurant called Shrimpies in Richmond, America.
So I'm thinking something to do with my apps (only have a vague idea of what that means)
Off I go to Telstra (my provider) and they tell me there is nothing they can do, its to do with my computer provider (or something). Now the Shrimpies thing is not showing on my computer nor does it show on my phone when I go into history.
I have no idea how to comunicate with the internet provider or whoever it is I am supposed to talk to.
Can someone help me with how to do that or what to do about any of the above please?
Someone tried to log into your g-mail accounts? That doesn't have anything to do with your phone. Sounds like you either got a virus from another e-mail, or someone's trying to hack your account. I'd be changing my password ASAP.
I had someone try to hack my e-mail as well as Paypal account. Changing passwords usually stops them in their tracks.
