My horse got his main choped
When I went out to look at my new horse to buy the lady had just chopped off his main. his forlock went down to his nose and she cut it like bangs above his eyes and his main looked like a barbie after a five year old got a hold of sissors. So what i'm wondering is will it grow back as long as it was he's only three. Along this thought I know when people get thier hair cut it makes it grow back faster and healthier is it the same for horses?

I'm not sure how long it will take but i know exactly how you feel! i went to see the horse that we just bought to see him for a second time and him owners (or his previous owners!) had clipped all his spots off! (well they clipped him and it made him look like his spots were gone). I was really disappointed :( but of course we still said how gorgeous he looked (well his did look absolutely gorgeous of course :D, but not as pretty as before)

The same thing happened to me too!! When I went to bring Jubilee home, I found that the lady had chopped off parts of her mane AND forelock (!!!) because there were burrs in it! Didn't bother to PULL them out, just cut them out! I was sooo glad she didn't go anywhere near her tail though ... :?
About the growing back, it probably does work the same way. Manes don't take that long to grow, its the tails that do. Work some MTG into it and it should grow in no time.
