My "use to be" horse. OMG!!
:shock:I saw this and was about to died of shock. So, I was looking through youtube at some ASB (American Saddlebreds) and I saw this video of my old horse Eliza, at this BIG American Saddlebred farm. Last time I saw her was when I retrained her about a 1 year and a half ago. We sold her to this girl who couldn't handle her and guess she ended at this barn. She forsale again.....
I would buy her but these people, I have heard of them through shows, they are the type to take your money and run.....
Here the Video of them with her(she has a fake tail on.)
Here is pictures of when I owned her(my friend is the one riding.) The first two pictures are her.

Really cool! Too bad they're sketchy people...
What is the elastic thing on her hooves in the pictures? It looks like a bungee chord or something connecting her feet. I've never seen this before...
What are those strange things attached to your horse's hooves? doesn't look very safe, what's the purpose of them?
Oh good, you don't know either. Now I don't feel so dumb.
They are called stretchers. With saddlebreds you want them to high step and the stretchers help exrcise thoughs muscles. There really safe. There like little rubber tubes, if the horse freak. SNAP!!! They come right off.
hmm...seems strange. Ive never heard of it. BUt ok LOL
I grew up around a saddlebred training barn and saw those stretchers all the time. They've been a training tool for a long time. Never saw a horse get hurt because of them.
Very pretty horse. You should buy her back....
Yeah, stretchies seem really weird at first, but really they are quite safe and acceptable in the Saddle Seat world.
Eliza looks great in that video! She's seems like a pretty level headed Saddlebred. I've never ridden saddle seat myself, but I have a lot of friends that do and the University I went to had a lot of saddle seat horses. Eliza has some great movement and you can tell that she is using her mind.
If you really wanted her back you probably could get her. Even if they are shady people, you know the horse so it's not like they can trick you there. As long as you are really careful and have the right paperwork you could do it. It's not like they could just leave the state overnight, especially if they are a big barn. :) Don't give up! If you want her back, GET HER!
