Ariat Volant Tall Lace for showing
I have a boot problem, okay. I admitted it, and though I usually wouldn't spend money on something so frivolous, these boots http://www.doversaddlery.com/ariat%26reg%3B-volant%26trade%3B--lace-h2o-tall-boot/p/X1-380078/
Are on sale (in Alpharetta) for $200 and I really want them. However, would they be okay to show dressage/eventing in? I'm just doing intro right now, and maybe amoeba on a horse I'm training, but nothing more. And could I wear them for a hunter show? If not, I have others.
Would they be okay?
Does anyone know anything about them? I've had a hard time finding reviews for them.

They look like fancy rainboots.
I wouldn't buy them. Very clunky and covered in rubber. I guess if you lived in a climate with a lot of rain they would be good.
You definitely could not show them in hunters.
I own these boots. Very lightweight, very comfortable. However, I would never show with them in anything aside from jumpers and xcountry. I use them for my every day boots though and they are the best purchase I have ever made I think.
If you have any specific questions about them or the other two in the Volant tall boot line I'd be happy to help =)
