DNA testing

Hi,
I am new to this, so here goes.
I recently came into ownership of a Paso Fino Mare that was a rescue horse. It is obvious that she has had professional training in the past. Unfortunatlly, neglected and abused. We have her back under saddle again. My question is this.... Can any of the Paso Fino Associations perform a DNA cross match of this mare in order to determine her pedegree without kinowing Sire and Dame?

Thanks for any direction or input

If the sire and dams DNA is on file they should be able to other wise they can't. Have no idea what the cost would be.

Thanks for the reply. i have checked with Paso Association concerning DNA. Test cost $55.00. They were kind of vague when it came to question of running DNA results through the data base. I would guess that so long as her DNA is in the data base I will get all the info that I need. Will try that route first.
