What size riding pants?
I'm buying my first pair of riding pants, (catalog) but I'm not sure which size to get. I'm normally a size 10 in regular pants. Do sizes vary by brand?
I would try them on in a tack shop, first. After you've been in horses awhile, you can call the online stores and check on their sizing.
It's done by waist size. Measure your waist with a cloth measuring tape or take a piece of string and mark it, then measure the string.
Take into account any body features you have that may affect fit. So if your booty is a bit larger than most people with your waist size, you'll want to go up a size as riding pants are basically skin tight.
