Welcome to the forum! I'm sure you'll find some great info from all the great people on the forum here! Best of luck with your riding!

I do not own a horse yet but I plan to in the near future. Due to the fact that I am very unexperienced I am waiting a little while until I end up buying my own. And thank you for all the greetings!

If you don't mind me asking where in Missouri are you? I am trying to find some people in my area who are as interested in equine as I am. Feel free to private message me as well if you want.

That is a beautiful area, lots of places to ride, you are close to some great state areas, and the largest trail ride in the state if mot the midwest. I am a bit far.
I am about 60 miles west of St Louis on HWY 70.
My horse's DVM dentist lives down your way and he is amazing. He is in Marshfield, to far to be your regular vet, but think about going to him for dentistry. He makes the rounds all over the state, he comes up and does our group, about 10 owners, twice a year.

You are also close to the hometown of Laura Ingalls Wilder, who wrote "Little House on the Prarie" she was from Mansfield, also in Mansfield is a great organic seed co, for the life of me I can't remember the name now though.
When are you moving?
