- - Sore back?
|horsie24 ||05-18-2007 10:34 PM |
Whenever i put pressure on my horses back along her spine with my fingers, it sinks down. It seems to be getting worse everyday but I have no idea what could be causing it. I told the barn manager to look at her so she will be checked out soon. Any idea what could be causing this? She shows no problems from it when I am riding her.

have you talked to a horse cyropactor...went to a 4-h meet tonight and they had this guy adjust a horse, it was really cool, you might ask around or ask the local vet if they know of one

There are lots of people who will say that horse chiropractors are full of poop and a waste of money but I know from first hand experience that they really do work. Some horses have to be adjusted regularly and some do well with one adjustment and some time to heal. Keep in mind that although the horse will be better after one visit, it may take a couple days for them to be completely back to normal.

there could be a few thing that has caused it, the saddle may be hurting her or she has done something in the paddock just mucking around...do you do any jumping with her at all? and how old is she? but yeh id go with what most of these people have said her i would probly get a chiropractor out to see her...they do work wonders lol

I agree, Chiropracters are great! Mine's coming out this week. It's a good idea to get your horse checked out incase there is something out.
