Do jumping lessons cost more at your barn?

Hi! This is my very first post, so i apologize if i make any mistakes! And sorry it is so long! I didn't mean for that to happen! Feel free to not bother to read the rest and just answer the question in the title!

I was just wondering if jumping lessons cost more at your barn? I ride at your average lesson/boarding stable, but since i was recently told i could progress into jumping lessons (AH!!! :) :) :) sorry I just had to share my excitement! I have been waiting for this my entire life!) I realized at my barn they cost more.

Unfortunately the barn i ride at would probably not be my #1 choice, though I do like it! But I had to choose this barn because it has bus service and i can't always get a drive to my lessons because of my dad's work schedule. When i found out the jumping lessons i was so excited for would cost more i asked around and couldn't find another barn that charged more for jumping lessons!

This barn is already very expensive and there is no way we can afford these higher prices! I'm not complaining! I will never let myself take the riding I can get for granted! But I was just wondering if there is a price difference between flat and jumping lessons at your barn! Thank you! :)

I rode at a hunter jumper barn for years, and all lessons cost the same. Everywhere I've ridden and worked charges the same for a jumping lesson, I've never heard of a jumping lesson costing more! But then again I'm in a huge hunter/jumper area.

The only price differences I've ever come across were based on the lesson length (longer lessons cost more) or if they were private, semi-private or group. Never had lessons that varied in price based on what you were doing - not even at a workshop.
