Daily or Paste Dewormer?

Which one has had better results for you?
Which one do you think is better?

I always use liquid, great results, cheapest price.

i have always used paste seems to work well for my boys but can get messy if they decide to be a butt

We've always used 'traditional' paste wormer rotations, have never had a problem, and it's quick and easy (IMHO).

paste wormers

I never understood the concept behind daily...they don't allow for rotation of medicine and seems like parasites would build resistance...and its more costly.:?

What is best is the product that is still effective (no resistance issues) and meets your needs with the least amount of dosing possible. This is because the more often you dose with a dewormer the faster resistance to the drug used will develope and resistance is a major major issue.

Every horse owner should assess the risk factors of their horse's situation, find out if there horse tends to have a high natural resistance to parasites or needs more frequent testing/deworming and then build a deworming program to fit the exact needs of their situation.

I honestly don't know why ones is better but I use paste because it's easier for me. Cobalt sees it coming and he actually likes it...go figure. He always ends up licking the end of the tube  silly baby.

lol... April sees it coming and backs herself into the corner and fights it.

I like the paste, I also change up different brands to try to cover everything

I've always used paste. Vega and Montana are fine with it. With Gem we have to mix it in with his feed and add molasses.
