I heard geese run after you and bite if they don't like you. Is it true or is it just a myth? :D

Those are beautiful, do happen to know what they are called? It looks like a Barnacle goose, but thats from my Birds of North America bird book.
I'm an amateur bird watcher. We get tons of the Canada geese here for the winter, I love them

Sorry, I only know the dutch word of that kinda geese, namely Brandgans. Maybe you can Google it!

EDIT: I looked it up and it IS a Barnacle goose.

My book says they are rare in the US along the east coast, but they do make it here occasionally. I've never seen one.
All the wild geese here look like this and they are only here in the winter.
