Yep that right. I found him in the horse paddock so I picked him up and here are the pics. I am being serious too. He does have the worlds deadliest venom its just he dosnt have fangs.....lucky. If he did he would be deadlier than a Black Muba, Taipan, King Cobra, Rattlesnake etc.
I love reptiles!!:D

I had no idea they had deadly venom. Or even venom at all.

for a starter I thought it was a dragon. Those deadliest sliva dragons (I cant think of their name now).

What is this thing anyway? I like reptiles too :D

bearded dragon. They are cute when they are little.

Give Miss Katie a prize. Yep it is a Bearded Dragon. I had no idea they had venom either until I was reading one of those 'Believe it or not' books where it said that they do have venom glands but it get mixed into the saliva and gets watered down but the strength venom of a venom is measured from the glands in its purest form it is stronger than all snakes it just dosnt have fangs.
I found a baby one today too. Cute little critters

I love watching them run.

There is one at the creek where I swim my dogs, and he is always sunbaking on the same rock. Poor thing hates it when the dogs turn up and takes off.

my brother has a few. he want to be a herpetologist. He has snakes, geckos, beardies, and turtles. He has plans for a few other critters soon. Thankfully our mother is very tolerant.

I want a snake seeing as our rental place isnt aloowed dogs or cats but Mum wont have it

Jehanzeb 01-14-2009 10:27 AM

I wouldn't want to have any of the reptiles at home, but then again might consider a Croc if get a chance to have one :D.

LOL crocs are cute until they hit the meter mark....and start removing limbs. I have a healthy respect for crocs.
