Palomino I want to have peoples opinion/facts on this, becuase I honestly dont know. Are palominos a breed, color, or both?? I used to ride a Palomino but she was a quarter horse so this is why I'm asking. |

First of all, I was talking about Palominos not paints, I already know that paints are a color not breed. Second of all, their is no need to be rude just answer the questions and if you are in a bad mood just talk to someone else bout it. |

I may be wrong, but, in a book I read that Palomino is a type....I don't exactly know what they mean by that lol, but if I had to choose between whether it was a color or a breed I would probably go with color..that's a really good question :D |
People.. no need to get snippy here. Spyder was just redirecting to a previous post.. but it did sound a little snippy too, Spyder |

Palomino is a color not a breed. There is a Palomino Asso. where you have to have one to show. Paint is a breed not a color, there are different colors and patterns within that breed including solids. Pinto is a color asso. for any breed horse as long as it meets their color requirments. |
You know, guys, please let's not assume the worst. When we are "speaking" and "hearing" on the computer it's awfully easy to assume the worst. You just really cannot, most of the time, tell another's motives online. My guess is that those with a dry sense of humor and those of few words are often accused of having poor motives. I think that it's best to give everyone the benefit about their motives. I do believe that Spyder was directing OP towards my post on the Paint thread. I had given links about Palominos. Look at post #8. http://www.horseforum.com/horse-bree...t-horse-20914/ |
