Desperately searching for a certain Clydesdale
Last year I leased a Clydesdale from a friend of mine. He left my farm and went to a farm in FL where he was leased. Unknown to me, he was sold to the people in FL. Had I of known he would have been for sale, I would have bought him!!! Well, his new owners took him to an auction in GA and sold him at an auction.
This is a HUGE INSULT to this horse!!!!!!!!! He should have NEVER set hoof in an auction!!!!!!!! This Clydesdale SHOULD have been sent with his own leather breastcollar with his name on it and black draft bridle (both brand new). This Clydesdale should be VERY easy to identify... I haven't met a horse who could do any more tricks than this Clydesdale does.
I couldn't stop crying this morning when I found out that he was sold at an auction, but I am determined to find him again. I want to know for a FACT he is in a GOOD HOME, being taken care of, and I want to keep in touch with him. If he is ever up for sale again, I also want to buy him immediately and reunite him with his ORIGINAL mommy - who foaled him, raised him, and trained him. I LOVE this horse as much as my own horses and it completely breaks my heart to think he might be in a bad home.
Is ANYONE in GA / FL who knows of someone who just lucked up with a trick-trained Clydesdale that rides and drives??????
First & for most, read over this, before ever posting again, because no one wants to read BIG letters or look at tons of this (!!!!!!!!!!!???????) it is really anoying!
4- Please do not use excessive Net-Speak.
Please spell out your words. For example: Say "Your" instead of "ur", and say "to" instead of "2" etc. Keep in mind, that not all members of this forum speak English as a first language, it is already hard enough for them to translate our slang terms but the net-speak makes it a lot harder for them, since there is no way to translate it. Furthermore, do not type in all caps, or in alternating caps, or use excessive exclamation points or question marks. (Example. DONT TYPE LIKE THIS oR LiKe ThIs!!!!!111!!!!!????///)
Second of all, if your so called "friend" did sell your horse, that you was leasing this is what you do. You walk outside, bend down & take the morning news paper firmly in your hands, bring it tightly upward & wack yourself in the head with it! More than once if needed. Because if you knew better you would of made a lease agreement, even if you was dealing with your flesh & blood! There is nothing you can do, so be smarter next time.
Also, dont just assume the horse went to a bad home because it went to a auction. Auctions are sometimes very well kept & not all horses that go there end up in bad homes, alot are saved & in better homes than they was before the pervious owner leased them out to a friend not even thinking of making a Lease Agreement.

Happy Future Posting!
bit harsh QH_Lover09 people normally start getting inpolite on this web site after their first week not on their first day. she is just missing the horse my god what is wrong with this forum why do u all feel so great about making others feel crap
To KaydeeBugg: I am sorry if I came across mean but you have to understand that if your friend sold your horse & you didn't have a Lease Agreement saying the horse was yours in the beginning, you are screwed, to be honest! Yes, you can find your horse but I doubt you will. If I was you, id deffently pop myself in the head with a news paper, & learn from this! Everyone makes mistakes & no one is perfect not even my big mouth, ok? I really hope your Clydesdale has found a good home, & im sure he has if he is as talented as you say he is! :)
I'm in oregon sorry.. but I really wish you the best of luck.. I understand, in a way, how you feel. My friend had a QuarterHorse gleding named Hank in her field with her mare. Hank belonged to the guy she bought her mare from and they were keeping in touch so he allowed her to ride Hank if he could keep him there. We went on a lot of rides together and I loved him to death.
Of course though he wasn't her horse or mine and even though I would have fought with my little 12 year old heart at that time to keep him. I came back to visit her after a couple of weeks and Hank was gone. He'd been sold to a new family in Brownsville, Oregon. (Came from Halsey, Oregon.) I would give anything to have him back. I only ever saw him once after that but he was a little older and might not even be around now.
At the barn I volunteer at we had one stallion who was recently sold. I think I loved him more than Hank. His name is Meastoso Platana and he's from the Spanish Riding School. He was on the Quadrille team a few years then when his rider left they sold him. Recently his owner's Husband died and she's had to sell most of her horses and couldn't keep him. Once again I came back after a few months (hard to get out there) and he was gone. He's in Canada now..
I never had much of a chance to say goodbye to either of my loved horses and I probably never will see either of them again and I really do wish you the best of luck finding your horse.
sorry QH_Lover09 this forum is just getting me down a bit today there seem to be a lot of people on here who just attack other people i apologise if u did not mean to come of this way but i think KaydeeBugg has probable learnt her lesson in all this already and is just looking to find out about the horse
Have you checked classifieds online? The people who bought him might be selling him on there in hopes of making more money. Is he chipped or branded? You might be able to find him that way.
QH_lover, I believe that if you were to use more tact then you did, your post would have just been truthful and to the point.
However, I thought it was quite rude, unsubtle and uncalled for.
I'd like to keep this a positive enviroment and I don't believe your post aided in doing so.
Kaydee, that's really disappointing, I'm sorry about your situation. I hope everything works out for the best. Auctions can be quite scarey.
Like I said, i never ment to be that way & have already said sorry to her, end of story. :D
Good Luck with your search to find your horse!
