Odd Saddlehorn - Comments?

Hi guys,

Anyone ever see a saddlehorn like this one? I was thinking maybe it was a repair or something, but figured I'd see what the experts thought. Cheers!

The only thing I can think of is a repair or possibly a trick saddle but it looks a little short to b a trick saddle . More pics would be helpful.

It looks like whoever rides in it should be extra careful or they could sustain some nasty injuries. I wouldn't want to fall on that or be jabbed in the ribs if my horse had an accident ._.

a pic of the whole saddle would help a lot.

Looks more like a handlebar than a saddle horn

Isn't that an old dally roper?

The tall straight horn is reminiscent of a cutting saddle, but with no swells to speak of, I'm not sure.

Are the fenders rough out leather? That is also a popular adaptation for cutting, rough out leather to help give you a grip for your legs, while letting you move your seat around as needed.

No way that is a roping horn. Cutting or barrels maybe, but not roping.
