every time i worm my horse star he tends to lose hair in large patches every where on his body, the last wormer i tired was ivermaction and it did the same as the other ones.....is there such a thing a nutraul wormer ? abby is stars half sister(same damdirfrent sire) and doesn't have any problem
That sounds like hypersensitivity! :?
You may want to consider changing your herd to a different worming pattern to avoid having to (hopefully) worm as frequently by placing worming frequency on faecal samples and doing an egg count. That way if they have a low egg count then you won't have to worm them and if you keep up good pasture maintenance it is possible to never have to worm. This does work out better for your horses also as afterall wormer is a poison and cannot really be particularly good for the horses - particularly for your Star.
