Online Nutrition Course

So long story short, I was hoping to graduate in December but there's been a slight mix up with communication and I still need to take an equine nutrition course. I thought it was offered in the fall at my school, but it's not. I'm trying to avoid having to spend a ton of extra money having to go to school in the spring for just one class. :-(

I'm desperately trying to locate an online equine nutrition course that is for college credit and offered in the fall. I found one at Guelph in Canada but my school didn't approve it. :-(

So if any of you know of any, please let me know! I've been searching with no luck.

Guelph is one of the finest in North America and your school won't recognize it? Shame on them. It could be because they want your money going their way instead of elsewhere

Which school are you going too? Guelph is the only one I can think of off hand that has college credit.

I sent emails to about ten different equine universities and I haven't found one that will work. I'm going to Colorado State. Not sure what to do.

Hi, I just read your post. Maybe the online equine nutrition course given by the University of Edinburgh (UK, Europe) is something you are looking for?
here is the link: https://www.coursera.org/course/equinenutrition

A new course starts January 2014. Probably too late for you, but not for anybody else reading this post.

I did the course and it is a good basic course, very informative.

I already knew a lot about equine nutrition, but I still learned a lot.

Best thing: it is totally FREE and you get a CERTIFICATE as well!

The only problem with this one is it's done through Coursera, and if you look at the fine print, it's not worth college credit. Unless you can challenge a final exam for it proving you have the knowledge (which I think they stopped letting you do in High School, :P). It's a good course, I've taken it myself. Even on the University of Edinburgh website it tells you the online version is non-college credit.

Oh, I am sorry, I totally didn't read that (bold) word 'college credit',
