Tumor in mouth!?
My horses doesnt really like people getting into her mouth, or touching it. I never really thought it was from pain, and I still don't but yesterday I was working on breaking that habit. I held onto her upper lip like I was going to twitch her and I lifted it up and looked on the inside of the upper lip. There was a huge lump thing! It looks like a bubble, but it was hard and white compared to the rest of her lips. It was about as big as a marble. I dont have any pictures yet, but does anyone have any idea of what it might be?
my old horse got one of those and it was the size of a golf ball before i really noticed it. his was hidden under his tounge till it grew and as located on the soft tissue of his bar. turns out it was a cyst caused from the bit pinching the area. I had the dentist take care of it. they ended up cutting it out and it never came back. i'd for sure get your vet to look at it before it continues to grow and to confirm its a cyst.
I would get your vet to look at it. Do you think that could be causing her to not like things in her mouth? or has she always been like that?
