Tipperary Eventer Vest I'm looking into getting one of these. I've seen numerous people wear them and they seem a heck of a lot better than the one I currently have (mine is kind of bulky) I did read on DoverSaddlery.com that they are not an approved vest. Would that matter if all I'm doing is using it around the barn, trails and a possibly hunter pace? Are they good vests, or should I get a different brand? |
I believe they are approved... I'm pretty sure they are. I love mine :) Very light, easy to move in |
Sooo many people use these at USEA events there is no doubt in my mind that they are not approved... |
Yes Tipperarys are now not cirtified. They are safe to wear around though, and the USEA have not baned them, I wear one. They are very nice vests and I would invest, but if you are planing on eventing, I would invest in a Charels owen or another vest that is cirtified by the BETA 2000 Level 3 standerds! |
I have dreams of eventing, but in reality, I don't. I do like how thin and lightweight they are.. i'm probably going to get one. Thanks everyone! |
