Kai Photo Thread! Seeing as I am getting pics just about every time I ride this thread will be for his photos :D to start off... 9th February 2009 Went out this morning and cleaned up all the poles and barrels that the ponies had rolled around the arena for the last three months and made a grid. So went out this afternoon and of course it started to drizzle but it was light and stopping and starting. Kai warmed up beautifully. Great w/t/c canter today so we then walked around a little and watched mum lunge Spider after his lesson then we went over the grid. Kai is back to his usual habit of racing through as fast as possible :S and I had trouble trying to hold him back and stay with him :S First time through wasn't too bad, second time through was pretty messy, third time through was a little better, so we popped over a little 75cm upright and called it a day. Was nice and cool about 25C but very humid! 16 February 2009 It has been raining for a week now :( but hooray I rode today, briefly inbetween rain showers. So I grabbed Kai's bridle mum came out and helped me get his rug off and I jumped on! We just did some walking about and some super slow trotting, the ground was kind of slick so he was being cautious, I think, or just dead lazy hehe. But I promise in the pics he is actually trotting. We did lots of wiggly patterns, serpentines and spirals. Then we also did some shoulder-in and he was lovely. I think I should ride him bareback more often hehe. So mum got some photos when I first hopped on but it started to rain pretty much straight away, so not many and none of our shoulder-in <_< oh well next time I will make sure so you can all see how wonderful my pony can be!
