Good fun!

On a serious note (as I'm not a driving person), how did you find the weight on your arms from the shafts? I've often wondered how the cart (especially the two wheeled ones) compared to the weight of a rider and saddle for the horse.

weight on arms shafts.
the cart can be quite light in weight when in balance.
and its the draft you feel the weight.
but with most carts if thay run smooth thay role quite well with little draft at all.
the only thing is over balance if the driver and passanger sit right back.
as on a horse harness the belly band stops that.

It was actuall pretty easy. I'm about 140lbs & both kids combined are about 285. I felt it more in my legs rather than my arms.

lol, my friends and I 'drive' each other all of the time! Apparently I'm a very tiny pony but I'm one of those 'stubborn' ones because I tend to be quite lazy until I'm encouraged a lot, then I just lurch forward for a few steps before lazing around again. Apparently I need to go back to ground driving.

i could not stop laughing when i read your string endiku.
