Wild bay?
Is my mare wild bay? Also.. She has silver in her tail, if she is wild bay is it still gulastra plume or a result of the wild bay (is gulastra a seperate thing)?

Here she is 4 y/o at the track

This is either the winter before or after above picture

This is her as a 5 y/o (dark pictures, sorry)

Possible silver on the front legs?

Her feet were bad at the track :(
**Also I say my horse as I've bought her but haven't brought her home yet so my pictures are limited

The last picture the tail looks darker than it is.. In the videos that were sent its a lot like when she was on the track or even in the pic above it as a 5y/o. It's growing silver from the root so I don't think it's baby flaxen at all.

Lol thank you! I'm obsessed. I can't get her until mid-end July and I'm absolutely ready to start walking the 500 miles to get her ;)

What are you going to do with all that beauty?

Not wild bay. The tail is possibly gluestra plume.

I don't think wild bay, either- the black extends too high up, over her hocks and knees. Wild bay stops at the pastern. The tail looks like it could be gulastra plume. I'm not thinking silver since the mane doesn't appear to be affected at all, and IIRC thoroughbreds are not known to carry the silver gene.

She's awesome huh :) I'm so excited about her! She is super duper athletic too.

Thanks for the replies! I just wondered because her black seems so incomplete
