Cashel Tie-One-On (Englsh Saddles)

So I was thinking about ordering one of these for a trip I'm going to be taking in August. The only thing that worries me is that it might slip to one side and bunch up under the saddle if I only had say one item to attach, therefore all the weight being on one side.

Does anyone have any input/experience with these?

I've never seen one of these before...Is it supposed to be like saddlebags?
I think that with the riders weight in the saddle, you shouldn't have a problem with slipping..What is it made out of?

I'm not sure, someone said it's similar to a thin english saddle pad, and is quilted like one as well?

Never used it, but the name made me laugh

you could always get it and see how it is. Maybe keep it in the plastic or wrap it in a sheet (so it doesn't get dirty) and try it out and see if it does slip.

That's probably what I will do. Though I don't think the plastic will be necessary since it goes between the saddle and saddlepad.
