Livestock Feed Violations

Look and see what companies are getting hit time and time again for the same errors and problems .. those are the companies you don't want to do business with :)

while feed is made reginally by the bigger companies the standards are set in the "main" facility .. therefore if you see the smae company getting violations over and over it tells you that their "quality" standards are not as high as they should be ..

So far in reading i've not seen anything linking purina HORSE feeds to failing grades. And RE: nutrena Safe choice they tested all 3 bags and all 3 bags passed.

the quallity is the same across the board. read the tags .. that is all you need to do. they are not fixed formula so you are changing your horses feed with every new BATCH of feed.

Do your research that is all I can say ;) You will not find ANY company that has killed as many animals as Purina

Just a question: How many years have you been involved in horses? What brand do you feed your horse? How many horses have you owned?

I've been involved in horses for over 25 years, i feed purina and nutrena and i've owned over 7 horses., 2 currently

I am feeding strategy and don't have a problem with it at all. I usually feed Triple Crown, but switched to strategy because no one carries it. My horse looks great
He gets about a half of can of strategy twice a day and alfalfa grass hay

I am 40 years old and have NEVER not owned at least one horse normally two or three ..

I have three years of Equine Studies in COLLEGE, as well as three years of SOLID personal research on feeds and such

I feed Kent's Horsego32 and free choice hay or pasture

I have NEVERhad luck with ANY purina product normally it has made my horses CRAZY hyper
