Irish Cob Breeding Farm
If you were starting an irish cob breeding farm, what would you call it?

You've had 2 1/2 hours to think about this important decision and haven't come up with anything yet? *grin*

Go look up some Irish Gaelic names or words that you would like to convey...

For instance:

"Beannacht" means blessing

I'd be curious what this is for that so important:)

"Capall" is Gaelic for horse. A friend of mine rides at "capall creek farm" you could find some other way to incorporate it

Well , everything is personal, I would call it Chaistys as that was my mother's maiden name and it is an Irish name (and comes from one town in Waterford I think).

Name it whatever you want.

I'd call it a very bad idea. There are more Irish/Gypsy/Coloured cobs in the UK, than can possibly find homes. Thousands are sold for meat. Thousands end up in rescues.

There are very few, good cob breeding establishments. Very few. Why are you thinking of starting a new one? What will you have to offer?

....and for all I know, it isn't a game. She asked a question and I asked mine. Looking through this forum, we constantly see people deciding to start 'breeding' farms for no good reason.
