Working under him self
what does it mean to get a horse to work under him self? how do you get him to do that?
When we use the term (stepping) under himself. It means that the horse is moving from behind on the bit in proper carriage. There are a couple of new posts on here that are talking about this. You might want to take a look at them. One has photos and it may help you understand the concept and what it looks like.
like is jasper here? please excuse my fatness and terrible position. he wouldnt listen.
Are you asking if Jasper is working under himself?
If this is your question, he is not he is just cantering with his head up.
He is really CUTE! I like his head...
Here is a good discussion -
