Worried my mare might be pregnant

I bought a mare about 6 months ago and just started noticing her udder is getting bigger as is her belly...just the other day I discovered that there is an almost orangeish color fluid coming out of them. I also have not seen her in heat since I got her but her previous owner says that she had very undectable heats. Any thoughts? I show my mare so I'd like to know if I have to back out of showing this year. I have pictures of her if needed.

sounds pregnant, but no way to tell unless a vet palpates her, or she foals, whichever comes first. good luck.

Call your vet. They're the only truly reliable source to find out if your mare is pregnant or not.

I would talk to the vet. If she is NOT in foal then there is an issue with her udders you need to sort out.

Ok thanks I just called the vet and am waiting for a reply. :)

Hopefully, if she is in foal, you can find out what the sire is.
Let us know what the vet says.

I will keep you updated and I know that unless shes in an electric fence shes an escape artist and her previous owner did not have electric so it's possible she got out and no one would be the wiser.

Good luck.
